About

Jennie has been a life-long lover of sports and science. Having played everything from badminton to full-contact football, physical coaching and training come naturally.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Jennie worked in a university research lab for 2 years there. During this time, she tried stand-up comedy and loved it! When her lab job ended, Jennie took her act "on the road" as her full time career.

During that time Jennie continued to stay connected with exercise, designing corporate fitness seminars and online shows aimed at getting people moving as well as teaching group aerobics in both studio and corporate settings.

When her mother moved in and required full time care, Jennie put comedy on hold and became her caretaker. During that life-altering time, Jennie decided to bring her exercise passion back to the forefront and achieved her Personal Training Certification.

When she learned about Mint and its concentration on people over the age of 50, Jennie felt like her mother was pointing the way! Now, she's motivating people to move (and laugh while doing it!).

Passion

Jennie has been a Detroit Lions fan since birth - literally, as both parents were Lions season ticket holders. Getting the chance to play contact football from 2002-2017 was a dream come true as well as a great source of material for the stage.

Another passion is helping others achieve that "light bulb moment" when things click and they "get it." Whether the "it" is a move or a concept, it represents the point when that client or student will really begin to grow. And, finally and forever, "GO BLUE!"
