Mary A.
I had very little strength. I was very weak. I considered myself just kind of a bag of bones.
I realized that I wanted to be able to travel, to be able to carry my luggage, to be able to do things around the house without worrying about falling or without worrying about having to get extra help to do it.
I did pretty well. I gained a lot of strength. I can do things that I never was able to do before. I’m lifting a little over my body weight and I’m able to, you know, move furniture, and can take out the garbage down the hill if I need to.
These are things that people that are younger don’t realize get harder and harder as you get older. I’m 69 now, but I don’t consider myself old, and I’m still able to do the things that most people in their fifties can do.
I love the trainers. They really get to know you very well. They know what your needs are and what you’re good at and what you need to do better.
And I like the accountability. And that makes, for me, all the difference.
What would I tell somebody that is on the fence about coming into Mint? I would say do it because it makes a huge difference in your life. It has been a huge, huge improvement in my life and in my health.
