About

From a young age, Max has always been active. Whether in youth sports or high school varsity football and volleyball, Max has enjoyed sharing his active lifestyle with others. 

As an adult facing a lack of organized athletics, he turned into a marathoner and triathlete and pursued new outdoor activities like golf and surfing. 

Leading a balanced and healthy lifestyle has been Max's priority since losing his father in 2007 to a number of illnesses that could have been prevented through proper nutrition and exercise. 

Max's passion for healthy living prompted him to make it his mission to help others live life to its fullest at Mint Condition Fitness. 

Education & Qualifications

Max attended San Jose State University, earning his B.S. in Business Administration (while picking up ice hockey for P.E. credits!). He then found his passion for teaching, earning his M.A. in Education. 

After spending four years in various teaching capacities, Max decided to combine his passion for education and fitness and became a Certified Personal Trainer. 

Certifications Include:

  • National Academy of Sports Medicine: Certified Personal Trainer
    • Broad knowledge of the human body, muscle function, programming strategy, and exercise science.
