The 5 Best Exercises for Shoulder Pain

You don't realize just how important your shoulders are to your everyday life until one of them gets hurt.

Getting up, getting down, putting on your shoes, getting a glass from the top shelf of the cabinet…whatever it is, shoulder pain is no fun.

And to make matters worse, the shoulder is one of the most likely areas of your body to get hurt! Why?

Because it needs to have a huge range of motion. Think about all the different directions that your arm can move. Compare that with your elbow, your knee, or even your hip, and you can see that there is just far more motion at the shoulder joint.

With more motion, however, comes higher risk of injury, and that’s why it is critical that you are doing the right exercises to keep your shoulders strong and safe.

Now it is important for you to know that not all shoulder pain is the same. If there is an exercise in this video that does not help, please skip it.

Also, if you do have a shoulder injury and have not yet seen a specialist, I would strongly recommend you do. A physical therapist or chiropractor would be a great place to start before attempting any exercises.
