After years of inactivity, poor posture, and injury from working as a caregiver in Australia, Priyanka severely injured her back at the age of 20. She began to look for ways to better herself and turned to a set of 5kg dumbbells left behind by her brother.
Soon after, Priyanka enrolled in karate class and even became a regular gym goer. Though she found herself becoming physically stronger, the newfound mental discipline left her wanting more.
Today, Priyanka is still working on improving her sciatica, SIJ dysfunction, rotator cuff injury, and chronic back pain. Understanding every day is a work in progress and can be challenging, she is determined to work through her limitations. Priyanka’s personal journey became the driving force behind pursuing a career in personal training.
Priyanka moved to the U.S. from Australia in 2017 and enrolled at De Anza Community College, where she earned her Associates Degree for Transfer in Kinesiology.
She is now attending San Jose State University as a kinesiology major with the intention of going on to achieving her Master's Degree in Athletic Training.
- National Academy of Sports Medicine: Certified Personal Trainer

Priyanka is driven to help others overcome their own physical limitations so that they can live pain-free, fulfilling lives. She has a curious mind that is constantly seeking to learn and explore the best way to help others.
In her free time, Priyanka loves reading books and getting lost in the stories. When at home, she will most likely be cooking or baking while her music plays in the background, spending time with family, or playing guitar. If you have music recommendations, she’s all ears!
