You barely had time to work out BEFORE you were stuck inside...now you have more work, more people, and more worry.
You know you need to work out, but how are you going to find the time?
It’s times like these that exercise is more important than ever...not just for your physical health, but for your mental health.

Exercise does wonders for your brain...it helps you to reduce stress, stay positive, sleep better, have more patience, and overall just be a better person!
But when you are overwhelmed, it doesn’t feel posible. That is why I wanted to share some ideas on how you can STILL get your workouts in, even if you think you don’t have time.
The Top 4 Ways to Sneak in a Workout

1) 60 Every 60
Set a timer on your computer or phone to go off every hour (or two hours if that is more manageable). When the timer goes off, do 60 seconds of an exercise.
That could be squats, push ups, or pull aparts...you decide! The point is that if you do 60 seconds of an exercise every hour, you will get in a 6-9 minute workout every day.
2) Super Slow
If you want your workouts to be shorter, slow them down. It may sound counter productive, but trust me.
Go try to do 7 squats and take 7 seconds to go down and 7 seconds to go up. By the time you are done, you won’t need much more leg work!
Here is a program that you could do with this method and be done in less than 8 minutes and you will feel it: squats, push ups, single leg bridges.

3) Do It First
The main reason that we “don’t have time” is because we get sucked into everything else going on in our day. If you get up and do a 5-10 minute workout, you will feel better all day and you will not have to worry about it!
You know what I do when I am in a crunch? I do as many burpees as I can in a row. When I can’t keep going, my workout is done!
4) Watch and Work
We all are spending too much time sitting right now. So, try to use some of that time productively. When you are watching TV at night, get up and do a workout while you watch.
Especially if you are watching the news - you can still listen to what they say, but get a workout in at the same time!
The truth is, you don’t need to work out for an hour every day to feel better. Most days I get a 10-20 minute workout in and it keeps my mind and body sharp for the day.
